Due to Sweden's supportive welfare system and generous parental leave policies, preschool placements are only available starting from 1 year of age. An absolute minefield of information, there is no guarantee of securing a preferred nursery nor a specific start date with many swedes adding the children to waiting lists as soon as they turn 3 months of age. However, what can be ensured is that your child will be offered a nursery place within the requested month, provided at least three months' notice is given. Some non-state preschools maintain lengthy waiting lists, spanning years but you do have a lot better chance of gaining a spot if your start date is for mid-August when the preschool year runs. While we cannot facilitate queue jumping, as it is prohibited by law, we offer assistance in navigating the complex process of the selection and applying to preschools. 

Additionally, we can conduct visits on your behalf and assess suitability before adding them to your potential list. If the need for childcare arises before the age of 1, rest assured, we are available to support you by facilitating interviews and vetting potential nannies.
